Terms of Service

Last updated: [[ DATE ]]
The short version: MindBlaze is a subscription learning app. You get 7 days free with no card. After that, you only continue (and only pay) if you choose to add a card. You can cancel anytime, and you're never charged by surprise.

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you (the parent or guardian opening the account) and [[ COMPANY NAME LTD ]] ("MindBlaze", "we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them. You must be 18 or over and the parent or guardian of any child who uses the service.

2. The service

MindBlaze provides game-based 11+ practice for children, plus a dashboard for parents to track progress. We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the product.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. You confirm that the information you give us is accurate, and that you have authority to create profiles for the child or children you add.

4. Free trial

5. Subscriptions, pricing and payment

6. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your account (via the billing portal). Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not generally refund part-months.

Your statutory rights: As a UK consumer you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a new purchase. Because MindBlaze is digital content delivered immediately, by subscribing and starting to use it you agree that the service begins straight away and acknowledge that this 14-day cancellation right may be lost once the service has started. This does not affect your other legal rights.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — for example, by sharing your login for commercial resale, attempting to break or bypass the app's security or access controls, or copying or redistributing our content. Demonstration or complimentary accounts we provide remain our property and may be withdrawn at any time.

8. Our content

All MindBlaze content, questions, designs and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your family's own learning while you have an active account.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep MindBlaze available and working, but we provide it "as is" and cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not a substitute for a tutor or school, and we do not guarantee any particular exam result.

10. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses.

11. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms or that we reasonably believe is being misused.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England & Wales.
