What order should my child learn statistics in?

Follow the numbered path: reading charts first (S1–S4), then the averages (S5–S6), then tables and diagrams (S7–S8), finishing with probability and mixed problems.

What ages are these statistics lessons for?

Ages 9–11 (Years 5–6 in England); the chart-reading lessons also suit Years 3–4.
