Both: 6 faces, 12 edges, 8 vertices. The cube's faces are all squares.
Square-based pyramid: 5 faces (4 triangles + 1 square), 8 edges, 5 vertices.
Triangular prism: 5 faces, 9 edges, 6 vertices. A prism has the same cross-section all along.
